The County of Two Hills is located in the North Eastern Alberta and covers roughly 2,700 square kilometers. There are roughly 4,500 people residing in the county: 2,700 who reside rurally, and 1,800 who reside in the town of Two Hills and the Villages of Derwent, Myrnam and Willingdon.
The North Saskatchewan River parallels the north border of the County, providing much of that area with valleys and rolling hills ideal for recreation.
The County's main industry is agriculture, but it is supplemented by oil and gas production, manufacturing and food processing. |
